How often will my dog have time outside and enrichment?

At Six Acres Luxury Dog Boarding, we prioritise the well-being and happiness of your beloved pets. Our facility offers structured outdoor exercise sessions twice per day, ensuring that your dogs have ample opportunity to enjoy fresh air and engage in physical activity.

In addition to outdoor exercise, we provide enrichment activities, both indoors and outdoors, also twice per day. These activities are designed to stimulate your dog's mind and body, foster their natural instincts, and promote socialisation with other dogs and our trained staff.

Our commitment to high standards means that every aspect of your dog's stay is tailored to enhance their experience, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve.

Can i get a late check out or early check in?

At Six Acres Luxury Dog Boarding, we recommend that to guarantee an early check-in, you book for the night before your arrival. Similarly, if you wish to secure a late check-out, booking an additional night at the end of your stay is the best approach. This policy helps us manage our schedule efficiently while providing the utmost care and comfort for your pet. Thank you for your understanding.

Can i bring toys and beddings?

At Six Acres Luxury Dog Boarding, we encourage all owners to bring some 'home comforts' for their dogs to ensure a familiar and comforting environment. We recommend bringing bedding or blankets. (Blankets are easier for us to wash before collection; please bear this in mind.)

Any toys you provide will remain in your dog's personal suite, ensuring they are not taken by other dogs. However, we do not permit rawhide of any kind or treat-filled bones for safety reasons. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all our guests.

What vaccinations does my dog need?

As a minimum requirement, your dog must be vaccinated for the following: DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus) and either L2 (Leptospirosis) or L4 (Leptospirosis). While kennel cough vaccination is recommended, it is not mandatory.

It is essential that all dogs staying at Six Acres Luxury Dog Boarding are up-to-date with their flea and worming treatments. This ensures a healthy and hygienic environment for all our guests. Please ensure that any treatments cover the full duration of your dog's stay. Brands and dates last give of these treatments will be required prior to arrival to confirm your dog's eligibility for boarding.

Are there any days that cost more to stay with you like bank holidays and christmas?

At Six Acres Luxury Dog Boarding, we are pleased to announce that we don’t impose additional charges for dogs staying with us on weekends or bank holidays. However, please note that the following days will continue to incur a higher rate each year:
